Meet the Mini Senedd
Come and meet our Mini Senedd!
At Nant-y-Parc Primary School, our Mini Senedd gives pupils a voice and a platform to make a difference within the school and beyond. The group represents each class through their ambassadors, who take an active role in promoting and protecting pupils’ rights. Their goals are:

Each class ambassador to embed a right within their class and then share their learning with other classes during sharing sessions – ensuring children understand and apply their rights across the school.

To work alongside the Charter for Change to ensure pupils’ rights aren’t impacted – strengthening the school’s commitment to children’s rights.

To work with the community on a project to boost engagement – connecting learning to real-life change beyond the classroom.
Through these goals, the Mini Senedd empowers pupils to lead on rights-based practice, influence decisions, and build stronger links between the school and its community.
