At Nant Y Parc Primary school we Invest in our families. Supporting and creating a welcoming environment to support our learners, our parents and our community is at the heart of our school.
Investors in Families is a quality mark that recognises the work that schools and other settings undertake with families; to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Investors in Families is a national scheme, with a criteria of standards which are accredited. nant Y Parc Primary School has been awarded this fantastic quality mark in September 2018.
There are excellent links with families ranging from Home/ School books, half termly family assemblies in the Primary department, school events and opporunties to support and guide our community. With a variety of events taoilred to support our community including Internet Safety Workshops, In-house training and opportunities for families to become a part of our chidlnre's learning journey. In addition, the school works closely with families on a more individual basis if needed. The school has an Open Door policy and every effort is made to work closely with parents to provide assistance as quickly as is possible.
We conitnue to find more ways to support our families y designing workshops, open events and working closely with third party agencies to improve and support our families.
We are currently working towards the Comunnity Foundation Award and look forward to sharing more details soon.
